  • The LinMot line of industrial linear motors feature a direct drive system which eliminates the need for high-wear components such as belts, screws, cams or gears. This unique design offers greatly reduced maintenance and substantially longer service life even in rugged industrial environments. Every LinMot system provides complete motor control on the basis of force, speed, trajectory or position.

    High Speed, Long Life, and Complete Control Direct Drive Linear Motors

    A LinMot linear motor consists of two parts, a slider and a stator. Without the use of belts, screws, cams or gears, LinMot linear motors have an expected operating life of up to 2 billion cycles when properly applied. Now available in standard and stainless options, LinMot motors offer complete control on the basis of force, speed, trajectory and position.

    A LinMot linear motor features a simplistic design ideal for rugged applications like food packaging equipment and linear motor material handling systems where higher speed, longer service life and increased control are desired. Our stainless steel linear motors feature sealed, stainless steel motor casings and an IPK69 protection rating suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications and other harsh industrial environments where chemicals are used. We offer over 300 standard linear motor specifications, available in 15 different configurations. The module design makes custom designed linear motors feasible, even in moderate quantities.

    Our motors adjust to your specific design needs by providing linear motors with either space saving cables and connector assemblies or mounted rotatable connectors.


     


  • The new linear motors in the High Performance Series have the same package dimensions as the standard versions, with significantly increased performance. An increase in peak force of 50%, continuous force of 70%, and 20% in speed means nearly double the nominal performance.

  • LinMot’s stainless steel linear motors feature hygienically designed, stainless steel casings ideal for aggressive environments utilizing harsh chemicals and high pressure wash down processes. The AISI 316 and IP69K ratings are suitable for the linear motion needs of the food, pharmaceutical, and packaging industries. LinMot’s stainless steel linear motors provide higher dynamics and increased precision and multiple positions on equipment operating with pneumatic cylinders.

  • In answer to requests from our customers around the world, LinMot presents a unique, completely innovative product featuring two axes of movement in a single, compact assembly. Either independent or synchronized motion is achieved by combining individually controlled linear and rotary servo motors. The LinMot PR01 series of actuators feature both linear force and rotary torque control and are designed to be used in complex motion tasks such as screwing, tapping, aligning or stacking and are ideal for use in bottle capping applications.

  • The recently introduced LinMot P10-70 motor series extends the product range with larger and more powerful actuators producing up to 560 lbs of peak force.  Five different motor sizes from 112 lb to 560 lb cover a wide range of high power applications under heavy loads. The motors are controlled by the new E1400 Series Servo Drives with fieldbus and industrial Ethernet Interfaces.  The E1400 drives are directly powered from the AC mains with a 3×340…480VAC input range.
